Frequently Asked Questions

Solvr has completely changed the way people view tutoring and has made it a lot more accessible to every student. But still we do get some FAQs on a regular basis, so we are trying to address most of them below.

How long does it take for money to be deposited into my bank account?

For the first transaction, Stripe takes up to 7 days to process the payment. However, after the first payment it will only take a couple of days for it to be availbe in your bank account. We are currently trying to make this process as fast as possible, but for now it will take a couple of days after the first transaction has been made.

Where do I submit a complaint against a Solver?

If the Solver you had picked to help you did not do a good job, send us an email through the in-app help center, and we will look into what exactly happened, and if your complaint seems reasonable, we will refund your entire payment. We want to make sure you are being helped effectively and will take measures to ensure that. You can always email us at hello@solvrapp.com, and we'll be sure to help.

What payment methods can I use?

For making and receiving payments, you can use stripe. We are currently working on adding more payment methods like Venmo and Paypal. For now, however, Stripe is availbe to use. Stripe is a safe and well trusted payment platform!

Can I be both a Solvr and a Learner?

Yes, you can be both. You can switch between the two profiles. If you have only signed up with one of the two, you will have the option of creating the second one anytime you want.

Can I get my money back if I’m not satisfied by the solution?

Yes, you can get refunded. You can file a complaint in the help center section of the app and we will take a look at it. If it seems reasonable, we will refund you.

When I connect with a Solvr, where does my money go?

Our number one priority is to ensure that your money is safe, so when you connect with a Solvr, instead of paying them right away, your money is stored with us, until you have finished your tutoring session. We hold on to the money in case there are any disputes, that way we can refund you the entire payment you had initially made.

How do you get verified as a Solver?

You get verified once we have completed a thorough background check, your payment record is validated, and if you have helped over a certain amount of students as well as received lots of reviews.
